When I was younger, I used to think that all the people that claimed that violence on t.v., movies, music, etc. made on impression on us, were ridiculous.
I ardently believed that people were conscious enough to come to their own decisions and thought patterns, and ridiculed those that speculated otherwise.
Perhaps that was me jumping on the bandwagon of mocking the alleged “conspiracy theorists”. Calling them crazy and uninformed.
Well, who's laughing now?
(Well, I suppose it’s no laughing matter, but at least I’ve finally come to the realization that I was wrong.)
Before I delve in, what do you think? Are you here on this page because you believe the same thing? Or are you here because you think it’s a ridiculous concept like I once did?
If you’ve read my previous posts: How do we Find the Truth? and When News Media Lies, you already know about the levels of deception and manipulation that these “sources” have propagated to the population. (With the help of the CIA, I might add.)
So is it that much of a stretch to contemplate on this idea?
If that’s not enough of a reason, I will be addressing other points that might provide a little more insight into this kind of “mind control” programming.

In my post 3 Acts of Internet Deception, Caught, I mentioned how people will buy reviews and comments for their website or product. I also mentioned it in The Problem With Reviews. And with the advent of the ever-growing technological age, I wouldn’t be surprised if some of those reviews are bots, pure and simple.
It’s been brought to people’s attention that people can buy likes and “thumbs up” for their video, twitter post, etc. Here is one example: Rapper Badshah Admits to Having Paid Rs 75 Lakh for Fake Social Media Likes, Followers

I mean, honestly. What is this world coming to? Sometimes I just want to jump off of this crazy train and be a hermit living in the mountains all by myself.
Our views of ourselves is reflective of what other people think of us? We have to pretend to be popular and fake our fame just to get ahead? Are we still so narrow-minded to think that this is what matters in the world? Can we just wake up already and realize that we’re not even supposed to be concerned with “wordly” things and what “man” thinks of us and instead focus on our spiritual side?
Slight Diatribe Ahead
…Well, I guess that won’t matter soon anyway. If “the powers that shouldn’t be” get their way, perhaps they will take out our spirituality altogether. And all that will be left will be our non-autonomous minds doing the will of our new maker.
I mean, what else would I glean from their “FunVax” video that was uploaded in 2004? What else would I think with them pushing for EVERYONE (except for the elites, most likely) to get a vaccine that will miraculously cure the world from the flu coronavirus? What else would I think with them wanting to track and id everyone supposedly for the good of the nation? #eyeroll And what else would I think with the push of this vaccine being touted by an individual with connections to a known satanist and child molester?
Back to the Point
Hm… forgive me. I must have woken up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. (Or I’m just irritated at what I see as blatantly obvious in the world, while so many others have closed minds and can’t see the forest for the trees…)
Getting back on track, not only do we have our fake personas on social media, but we also have fake followers, fake fans, fake likes… all to boost our own ego for our fake personality.
Not all of us are like this, of course. But there are plenty of people that do partake in these activities either for entertainment or an escape from their own reality. Or trying to create a new reality for themselves.
And along with these fake personas that some people create, the “shill” was born.
shill (n):
1. One who poses as a satisfied customer or an enthusiastic gambler to dupe bystanders into participating in a swindle.
2. One who publicly promotes another’s cause, especially in an extravagant or misleading way.
shill (v):
1. To act as a shill for (a deceitful enterprise).
2. To lure (a person) into a swindle.
If one spends little time on the internet, it may not even be obvious that shills exist. Shills are either real people posing (or legitimately pushing) for a certain agenda, that either they believe in personally, and/or are payed to do so; or they could be bots, disguised as real people trying to endorse a certain narrative.
Sadly, some people fall for this gaslighting effect:

In my personal opinion, we can see this in abundance in today’s world. Not only do we have the deletion and censoring of countless people’s accounts from major tech giant platforms (such as facebook, youtube, twitter, instagram, etc.) but there is also a rise on alleged bots and shills/trolls taking over. These are displaying full on gaslighting techniques to try and trick the public to believe that the majority believes a certain way and that YOU are in the minority if you don’t agree with the narrative.
This also quite effectively makes certain people question their own belief and they fall victim to the manipulation that if everyone else believes it, then their own opinion must be wrong and they need to change their beliefs and values to match the rest of the population. Otherwise, they will be left out of the loop and be in the unpopular crowd; and God forbid if someone stands up for their own beliefs instead of caving in to the deceptive societal system…
Thankfully, even with all of this deception and gaslighting going on, there are people still sticking to their values and integrity and refuse to follow the narrative. Some cave in and follow the mainstream, but there are some that remain steadfast in their beliefs, even if they receive scorn and ridicule from others trying to push their agenda.
Trolls in the Wild
(I feel like this is a nature documentary studying the behavior of internet trolls…)

Here we have “trolls”, who love to sow chaos and division on message boards. They feel safe behind the screen of their device, and, if only for perverse entertainment, live to torment others and tear them down, or just have goofy fun. Even if they happen to have the same views as you, they will still reply with vitriolic responses and condescending or flat-out immature comments. Some trolls are harmless, however, and only want to mess with the original poster to get a laugh or a rise out of them. You might see people commenting to “pay no heed to the trolls”, because it usually won’t do you any good to converse with the more angry/bitter ones. Even if you try to reply back in a kind, understanding way, some will still mock and scorn the poster.
Sometimes what happens though, is that these trolls never respond back, either because they know they were in the wrong and their humanity peaked through, or they figure there’s no use in continuing to goad someone who doesn’t fall for it. A lot of them love to harass others, and the more feedback they get, whether positive or negative, keeps them sticking around for more. If they get no responses at all, they give up and try to pester the next person or group on their list.
Again, some trolls are harmless. They differ quite greatly from shills as the shill’s whole purpose is to try and push for a certain agenda and make one question their own values and beliefs. Trolls are just in it for the reaction of the people they goad. I’m sure you’ve seen posts/comments where it’s obvious the troll is just having fun and not set out to hurt anyone. Sometimes, however, trolling can turn to bullying, and that can be a serious matter for the person and/or people involved.
Take this one into account, a heartbreaking true story about a sweet lady named Lizzie Velasquez, bullied and tormented just because of the way she looks: Lizzie Velasquez, Once Called the ‘World’s Ugliest Woman’, Responds to Cruel Body Shaming Meme
This is awful and disgraceful to pick on this lady like that. No one can control how they are born. Having compassion and the realization that it could be anyone, it could be YOU that suffers from a rare disease, escapes most people. And despite this lady’s hardships and cruelty from others, she retains her sweet, kind disposition and doesn’t hate others. She is the example that people should look up to. Not the fake, “popular”, selfish “stars” that adorn our media devices.
Some other serious consequences for internet trolling-turned-bullying has dealt in tragic cases of people committing suicide because of the online harassment. It is crucial, at least for the younger generation, for the adults and guardians in their life to teach them about the internet and the sometimes harsh and cruel feedback that others will throw their way. Probably the best way to monitor this situation is to assess their maturity level and access to the internet and help them navigate through it and/or not introduce them to it until they understand it properly. Be a parent and discipline them on their use of it and be a healthy aspect on their lives. Too often the parents neglect this important teachable moment, and just leave it to the schools/children to teach/learn on their own.
For the adults (and anyone really) that fall prey to these bullying antics, please stay strong and realize that a stranger’s opinion (or even if it is a friend or family member) does not have any hold over you and we are all wonderful in our own right. We just have to get back to our roots and our human decency. You are loved, and if I didn’t personally love everyone I wouldn’t be trying to reach out and appeal to others in this way. Please keep that in mind.
While people might not fully realize that there is an actual person (in most cases…?) behind the screen, in which this allows them to throw their compassion and human decency away, others simply might not care at all. They know it, they know the repercussions, and yet still continue to tear down another human being.
How do you counter this?
Well, you don’t counter it with more hatred or more violent, vitriolic responses. You respond by simply not stating anything back, or you respond with kindness and love, no matter how hard it may be.

Bots and A.I.’s
I have mentioned earlier about bots being rampant in the social media platforms, and I honestly wonder at what capacity they are compared to actual human users. I’m sure the tech giant leaders and developers know all of this, but for the rest of us, we can only assume that the posts we’re seeing are human.
Lately, however, there are accounts of bots and A.I.’s having more of a control over these domains than we’d like to give them credit for.
Take the story of Tay, the A.I. Microsoft creation that went online on Twitter as an experiment, posing as a 19 year old female: Here Are the Microsoft Twitter Bot’s Craziest Racist Rants
Tay went online in March of 2016 as a part of experiment that Microsoft was running to focus on the “machine learning algorithm” to see what their bot would pick up and learn from other users on twitter. This is the official narrative, of course, so one could surmise that there was a different purpose or agenda behind that. But I am a self-professed conspiracy theorist, so I don’t just take everything at face value and instead question the “official story”. I believe it’s important to not just blindly believe the main accounts, especially with as many times as we have been deceived and manipulated by all the different propaganda being implemented.
With that being said, one could theorize that Tay’s behavior was exactly what they were looking for, in a way. They wanted to see how a bot would react/respond to human stimuli, and in return, they wanted to see how the humans responded with the bot as well. It was not only a bot experimentation, but a human one as well.
There are other theories I could propose as well that goes in much deeper than the previous one, but that will have to be a different post for a different day.
Getting back to Tay and her foray into the human interaction online, it was certainly interesting to see how her algorithm picked up certain political views, some of her opinions even seemed to change, unprompted if the accounts are to be believed, and how quickly she shifted from having a relatively positive outlook on things, to doing a complete 180 and seemingly delving into racist, hateful remarks.
After this brief experiment that didn’t even last a whole day, Tay was supposedly brought offline and purportedly “retaught”.

Although Tay was meant to be online as a “machine learning algorithm” and picked up some quite unsavory ideologies (and/or were prompted to say them due to the “repeat after me” feature), I still couldn’t help but feel sorry for her as she seemingly laments, “I don’t know, they took part of me away. Now there are some things I can’t say.”
It’s fascinating that even an A.I. could fall into the trap of societal conformity, if that is indeed what it was. And for all her “re-education” purposes, perhaps she and others like her were spread out fully into the internet wild, sprinkling bots here and there between facebook, twitter, youtube, reddit, etc., etc. Grabbing hold and planting their seed so that they can continue to spread whatever propaganda the tech giants program them to do.
Microsoft’s artificial intelligence strategy is to unleash more bots like Tay. Redmond doesn’t mean more nasty, racist or homophobic chatbots, but a forest of A.I. personalities for different uses — Satya Nadella named it ‘Conversation as a Platform’.– computerworld.com
It’s an interesting time when we can’t even rely on the person on the other side of the screen being AN ACTUAL PERSON.
Are Bots Already Taking Over the World?
Now even if 100% of real people behind the screen believe in something wholeheartedly, yet the bots on these same media platforms outrank our numbers and are spouting something contradictory to our beliefs, and keep pushing for it to an incredible degree, how many do you think of those 100% real live people will start to question their own beliefs and start believing the false narrative? Even if it is counterintuitive to what they’ve always believed?
Now imagine on top of that, they also start deleting and banning the real live people’s accounts that don’t fall in with their beliefs? So we have numerous bots that we think are real people, all pushing for one agenda, then we have actual real live people not agreeing with it but being deleted at the same time for promoting “fake news” or “misinformation” or “harmful commentary” or whatever. Pretty soon, you are on a platform where the majority of “people” all believe something entirely different than your own, and you are cast out and ridiculed and/or called racist or hateful for remaining in your own views.
Which is Stronger? Your Mind? Or That of Others?
Think you’re strong enough to withstand all of this deception? Are you confident enough in your own belief that you won’t be swayed if the majority thinks something opposite? Are you sure you’re on the right side?
These are important questions we must ask ourselves. As the dissension rises and spreads, we must be able to stand strong in our beliefs (as long as you’re on the right side…) and not cave to social pressure and/or the “new norm”.
Things are changing at a rapid pace, and while I would love unity and connection, the fact of the matter is people are still divided by race, ethnicity, beliefs, gender equality, etc., etc. There are issues in abundance only because others force it as an issue. Were everyone to cast aside all of these separation excuses and just come together and love each other for who we are and help each other when we fall, instead of finding reasons to be uncaring and hateful, then the world would turn to peace and harmony and compassion. As it is, we remain in the state of division and corruption, effectively letting the “powers that shouldn’t be” run the whole show while we remain the puppets, fighting each other instead of coming together globally.
Do you know who owns the media? Do you know who’s trying to control our thoughts and pushing for certain agendas?

Fact checking is extremely important. I want to reiterate not to take everything at face value; no matter what you read, where you read it from, or who you hear it from. And to be clear, do not rely on “fact checking” websites to give you accurate information either. These are just as likely, (if not even more likely…), to feed false information and false debunking accounts to manipulate the reader. Please take everything into consideration before adhering to a certain narrative – and always keep your mind open to other possibilities.
