If it wasn’t obvious before how much youtube manipulates viewers’ opinions, maybe this will finally shed some light on the matter.
Not only do we have facebook, who has admitted outright that it was experimenting on its users:
(Keep in mind, this experiment was allegedly done in 2012, with word coming out in 2014 about the results. Imagine what they have been doing since then…)
but we also have other big tech conglomerates engaging in mass experimentation with its users in order to steer public opinion.
Youtube to hide the dislike count is only one of them.
I made this post: Youtube Trigger Words, a couple of weeks ago, and it explains how there are certain suspicious words that will initiate an information panel to “guide” the viewers to additional information (that supposedly come from a third party – but that youtube obviously recommends. Again – in order to manipulate viewers’ opinions…)
And these words are of a highly controversial, and conspiratorial nature. It brings to mind why youtube would go to such measures to implement this system on such a small amount of very specific trigger words. Could they be working with organizations that are attempting to “debunk” certain theories and speculations? …You be the judge. (And then the question becomes ‘why’? If these subjects and theories are so ridiculous and outlandish, why spend so much time and effort into ‘debunking’ these topics? It seems as if more and more people are starting to believe it, and it damages certain organizations’ reputations and credibility. That would be a very good reason to target and manipulate people who aren’t onboard with the official narrative.)
And now, with the experiment of removing the dislike count (oh, but don’t worry. You can still press the “dislike” button, according to the youtube spokesperson, but you just can’t see it. Only the creators of the video can see the results.) it is only another agenda in order to sway public opinion. And/or a way to suppress people’s opinions. And it is unclear at this moment, if the “like” results will be hidden as well. If not, then obviously only the LIKE results will be shown, while the DISLIKE results will be seen with NO dislikes. But it couldn’t possibly be an effort to skew the public’s opinion on what’s good content and what’s not… right?
Let’s take the speculation of the current US presidency results, for example.
Youtube has already been caught removing some of the dislikes from The White House channel. These screenshots were taken from reclaimthenet.org: YouTube scrubs thousands of dislikes from Joe Biden videos on official White House channel where you can see many more examples.
Let’s say that youtube is initiating this “experiment” because of the incredible amounts of dislikes that The White House youtube channel has been receiving due to the 2020 presidency.
Is it a targeted dislike campaign, like youtube is suggesting? Or is it simply people expressing their sincere dislike of being fooled and manipulated into believing that Joe Biden actually won the presidency fair and square? And even if he did win the election fairly, people are allowed to express their disappointment of the current president’s handling, are they not? And if they disagree with the president’s statements, then they are allowed to have their own opinions and thoughts on the matter, are they not?
Or is everyone expected to just fall in line with what many see as an egregious over-step on the voters’ rights and who most suspect of election fraud? (…Which, by the way, “U.S. Elections” just so happens to be a “trigger word” on youtube that initiates an information bar on certain videos.)
And what gives youtube the right to alter the like/dislike algorithm to begin with? Sure, it’s their platform, but then they can’t say that they’re not attempting a deliberately targeting “like campaign” to counter the “dislike campaign”. Or to even apply to any video they want. Again, just like with facebook’s experimentation on their users, it might just boil down to manipulating and steering people’s moods, opinions, and thought patterns. Which is exactly the goal.
I do want to make this clear, I am not for Trump or Biden. I think most politicians are corrupt. But taking away the people’s voice – because not only is youtube taking away the dislike counter on some videos “as an experiment”, but there is of course the option to disable comments as well. Even though each content creator has their own option to do so, to disable comments on a widely used platform geared to present important information to the public by the government, but then take away the public’s ability to express their own opinions and disagreements, is completely against the democracy that the government was supposedly built upon. (And they call themselves democrats?)
We are not living in a democratic society. Or even a republican one. Everything that you are witnessing is the result of an ARISTOCRACY – and we have most likely been living in one for most of our lives.
And for other controversial circumstances that could have added to youtube’s decision to remove the DISLIKE counter, is the entire coronavirus situation and the debate surrounding the efficacy of the vaccine and mask mandates (along with other several different issues), and the general disagreement to the Klaus Schwab, World Economics Forum’s “great reset” proposal.
Both of these topics have been heavily opposed with many people expressing their distrust and suspicions regarding these institutions.
Of course with so many shady practices and everyone in each other’s back pockets,
– YouTube CEO Says They’ll Censor Content Not In Line With World Health Org
– The World Economic Forum and the World Health Organization are launching an emergency coronavirus task force of 200 business leaders — including execs from Alphabet and KPMG
– A timeline of the great reset agenda: from foundation to Event 201 and the pandemic of 2020
these big industries are obviously trying to protect each other, and what better way to do this than to silence dissent and make it appear as if no one is against these agendas?
As we can see from just these three links, we have youtube partnering with WHO, which youtube’s own CEO Susan Wojcicki has explicity stated that “anything that would go against World Health Organization [WHO] recommendations would be a violation of our policy” and would therefore be classified as “misinformation”.
And then from there, we can see a whole camaraderie between the biggest establishments running the current covid situation at the moment.
The WHO, partnering with not only youtube but also the WEF, who has partnered with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, who have partnered with Anthony Fauci’s NIAID, and so on and so forth. All of which are highly involved in pushing this vaccine mandate/”new normal”/great reset dictatorship scheme, and trying to get everyone to follow along.
This is no accident, and no mere coincidence. Everything has a purpose and a meaning.
Because George Carlin said it best (rest his soul) and it is still very relevant, here is a transcript of part of his infamous Big Club speech (emphasis added – and strong language ahead) :
“The real owners, the big, wealthy business interests control things and make all the important decisions – forget the politicians – the politicians are put there to give you the idea that you have freedom of choice.
You don’t. You have no choice. You have owners. They own you. They own everything. They own all the important land. They own and control the corporations. They long since bought and paid for the Senate, the Congress, the state houses, the city halls – they got the judges in their back pockets and they own all the big media companies so they control just about all of the news and information you get to hear.
They got you by the balls! They spend billions of dollars every year lobbying, lobbying to get what they want!
Well, we know what they want. They want more for themselves and less for everybody else. But I’ll tell you what they don’t want.
They don’t want a population of citizens capable of critical thinking. They don’t want well informed, well educated people capable of critical thinking. They’re not interested in that. That doesn’t help them. That’s against their interests.
They don’t want people who are smart enough to sit around the kitchen table to figure out how badly they’re getting f***ed by a system that threw them overboard thirty f***ing years ago. They don’t want that.
You know what they want? They want obedient workers. Obedient workers. People who are just smart enough to run the machines and do the paperwork and just dumb enough to passively accept all these increasingly sh**tier jobs with the lower pay, the longer hours to reduce benefits, the end of overtime, the vanishing pension that disappears the minute you go to collect it and now they’re coming for your Social Security money. They want your f***ing retirement money. They want it back. So they can give it to their criminal friends on Wall Street. And you know something? They’ll get it. They’ll get it all from you sooner or later, ’cause they own this f***ing place.
It’s a big club, and you ain’t in it!
You and I, are not in the “big club”.
By the way, it’s the same big club they use to beat you over the head with all day long when they tell you what to believe – all day long, beating you over the head in their media, telling you what to believe, what to think, and what to buy. (both literally, and figuratively…)
The table is tilted, folks. The game is rigged. And nobody seems to notice, and nobody seems to care. Good, honest, hard-working people – white-collor, blue-collar, doesn’t matter what color shirt you have on – good, honest, hard-working people continue – these are people of modest means – continue to elect these rich c**k-s**kers who don’t give a f*** about them. They don’t give a f*** about you. They don’t give a f*** about you! They don’t care about you, at all! At all! At all!
…(small excerpt taken out due to content)…
The owners of this country know the truth. It’s called the American dream… because you have to be asleep to believe it.” – George Carlin
The key point to all of this is to be self-aware. Think critically, think for yourself, and stop letting all of these corrupt agencies/big tech media corporations think for us.
Like what you like, not because of what other people say or how the supposed majority thinks and feels, but because you are confident enough in yourself to know who you are and what your own individual personal likes and dislikes are. As long as it’s not hurting anyone, you should feel complete within your own self to not care what other people think and instead stick to the truth of what you like and your own opinions, and not so easily cave into societal pressure or demand.
This is the goal of big tech and businesses. They push their agenda on the population to get as many people on board as they possibly can, and if that doesn’t work, then they skewer and manipulate the public opinion to coerce others either through fake popularity, and through bots and shills – which are a very real media manipulation tactic.
Maybe we can better learn to support and socialize with one another in real life and still be able to expose injustices and ridiculous propaganda, since these companies are deadset in taking away our capability to do this online. And help each other to learn to build our awareness in order to realize when we’re ultimately being taken for a ride.
Fact checking is extremely important. I want to reiterate not to take everything at face value; no matter what you read, where you read it from, or who you hear it from. And to be clear, do not rely on “fact checking” websites to give you accurate information either. These are just as likely, (if not even more likely…), to feed false information and false debunking accounts to manipulate the reader. Please take everything into consideration before adhering to a certain narrative – and always keep your mind open to other possibilities.
